I was really excited to get this ring. I read the reviews on lots of other rings, and it seemed like black was the way to go. In my humble opinion, though, definitely not. Within less than a week the outside of the ring has significant scratches in it, showing the metal below, and the inside of the ring is also showing wear. I am not particularly hard on my jewelry, and it seems like a serenity prayer ring should really be able to take a few licks anyway. I will be returning this and looking for something else.
